Symposium on Implications of Early Years Study 3 in NL
Early Years 3 received a flurry of attention in our province and started a public conversation on the challenges in providing childcare. The Jimmy Pratt Foundation hosted a public symposium to discuss the report and its implications for our models of care. 75 key stakeholders were invited to attend a full day conference at the Geo Center, where the Honorable Margaret McCain gave the opening address. Following presentations by the report’s authors, round table discussions ensued and the following report was compiled. The event was another step in creating an informed discussion on defining what quality early childcare could mean in our province.
